WHO WE ARE
Established in 1996, Petke Construction Co., Inc. is a SWaM Certified Small Business Class A General Contractor that holds both Commercial Building and Highway Heavy Licenses. As a General Contractor, we have a strong background in commercial renovation, maintenance, and structural repairs.
We have built, maintained, and/or renovated medical offices, operating rooms, warehouses, restaurants, retail, churches, municipal projects and an aircraft hangar, to name a few. In addition, we own and maintain a fleet of vehicles and machinery, including a mobile concrete batch plant. Our skilled staff and partners, with over 40 years in the construction industry, are accomplished at all phases of construction from site clearing to final turnover.

VDOT & ACI CERTIFIED
At Petke Construction we decided that in order to serve our customers better we would benefit from owning our own portable concrete batch plant. We have certifications from VDOT and ACI. Owning our own plant allows us to better control scheduling, mix design, and quality.
This is especially important with smaller custom pours.
COMMERCIAL GENERAL CONTRACTING
We are a full-service general contractor providing new construction, repairs, maintenance, and renovation of existing facilities to governmental, commercial, institutional, and industrial customers. What we don't self-perform is accomplished by a subcontractor base developed by over two decades of quality projects.

OSHA COMPLIANT
We have an extensive fleet of owned equipment, trucks, and trained personnel that allow us to perform a wide variety of site tasks. We self-perform excavation, grading, landscaping and utilities, both installation and repair, including newer technologies. In the event that a job requires equipment or manpower we don't have available at the moment, we enjoy good relationships with many of Virginia's premier contractors, and have often partnered with them.
